West Lakes Mortgages is run by Richard Bousfield. Richard has been a mortgage broker for over 20 years so brings a great amount of experience and knowledge to the role of helping you find the best mortgage deal possible.

Although originally from Lancaster for the majority of the last 20 years Richard has been based in the south of England, making his home in Surrey. However he is now basing himself in the beautiful Eskdale valley in a move back to his native north.

Richard says “I’m here to make the process as painless as possible. I pride myself on working hard for my clients to get the best possible outcome.

When not working Richard can be found on the fells with his two springer spaniels, Doris and Mabel. Currently dividing time between Cumbria and Surrey means that he is also spending a lot of time driving!
